Chicago Commitment Paid Internship

The summer intern will work with the Senior Program Officer in the Chicago Commitment program who specializes in the areas of arts and culture and institutional grant making.

Qualifications & Requirements
General Summary of Internship:

⦁ Help develop and organize a new strand of work related to leadership development for Chicago’s under-represented voices
⦁ Conduct a landscape review of artists that use data as a medium, this is a collaborative project with colleagues working on digital security
⦁ Present findings to the team
⦁ Attend digital security/arts meetings
⦁ Prepare for site visits and join program officers on some of these visits
⦁ Help collect information to inform design of the International Connections Fund evaluation
⦁ Conduct research on equity and cultural indicators

Application Process

The ideal candidate is a current graduate student in arts administration, nonprofit management, public policy, or the social sciences. The successful applicant will have strong research and writing skills, web and social media fluency, flexibility to flourish with multiple assignments, some familiarity with Chicago and its nonprofit community, and enthusiasm for the work of the program.
