Brush Strokes was self-published in 2006 and it sold really well. I was out slightly ahead of the anyone can self publish craze that has been a very good thing for Black authors. Along the way through my self publish success I was able to help others in the know how of setting up their own publishing company or how to avoid some of the pit falls of the vanity press. I have sold the movie rights to Brush Strokes, but as in many screen plays they can sit for sometime before you know what's going to happen.
